Winter Greetings

Hi there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of white card and used the Heart Scalloped Border die and cut it into the card on the top and bottom of the card.  I backed the piece with Ruby Red card.  For the focal element, I cut the Oval Wreath Frame out of green card.  I cut it again out of Old Rose Card and Ruby Red card.  I nipped away the flowers and glued them onto the green base die cut.  Using the Double Stitched  Ovals, I cut two of them and layered them then added them to the centre of the Oval Wreath.  I cut the Winter Greetings in black and glued it to the centre of the card.  I used Berry Sparkle PVA glue on all the little sprigs on the die cut.  The card was completed with red, white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  15. Hi Sue. What a very good idea these festive frames are. Perfect for adding a sentiment and then by adding extra embellishments in different Christmas colours it is easy to create a card with a perfect festive feel.
