Just Because

Hello bloggers!  I used the Stripes embossing folder to add texture to a piece of white card.  I cut the Leafy Rectangle out of white card, then cut it again in black and used it as an offset shadow behind the frame.    I selected three autumnal  colours to cut the leaves in.  I glued the leaves to the frame alternating the colours.  I cut the Just Because Block sentiment first in white, the I cut the words out in rust ad black.  I glued the white background from the sentiment block in place then added the Just Because in rust with an offset black shadow.  I cut two strips of the rust card and matted it with thin black mats, then added them to either side of the frame.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

With a change of colour behind the foliage and change of sentiment, this frame would be beautiful for a winter anniversary or wedding with lots of sparkle, a beautiful autumnal card, it's so versatile it's beautiful and you've given us a week of beauty and inspiration, thank you xxx

    Happy Friday everyone x
I’m sure the stripes embossing folder is from way back and I’m positive I’ve got that one. It’s lovely. I really feel like I keep repeating myself with the adjectives I use to describe your cards. I’ve run out of alternatives to gorgeous, stunning, and beautiful - sorry!
The leafy rectangle die is one that passed me by on one of the launches when I was absent. It’s fabulous. The colours on todays beauty are suitably Autumnal/Festive. If they were different it would change the whole look of the card - so many possibilities. Wonderful x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all happy thoughts x
