Just Because

Good Sunday morning all!  I selected a piece of mint green card to use as my base.  I cut the Beaded Cornice die in white four times.  I glued them to the edges of the card, overlapping them in the corners.  I used the Just Because sentiment which I cut in white and glued to the centre of the frame.  I used the Pierced Summer Blossoms and cut them in soft peach card and made two flowers.  I seated them in the lower right corner and added white leaves as accents.  I cut a larger piece of white card and ran double sided tape around the edges.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on it then added the main focal piece to the centre.  The card was completed with white mats and layers,  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Oh Sue this is the most beautiful design, it looks like the most delicate of blue, everything except the flowers looks like a duck egg blue but no matter what colour you chose, it's absolutely gorgeous and I have to add the beaded cornice die to my never ending list of dies I'd like to own.
Have a good day, love to all on this day we remember of thanks for those we lost, and are still losing in battle xx 🥀

  11. Hi Sue. Such a pretty card today using those dainty border dies. I would love to see it in real life to see the colours because you have said you used green but on my laptop it looks as though you have used several shades of blue!

  27. Hi Sue
    Happy Sunday everyone x
Just because - the sentiment to cover any occasion. I don’t think the pictures are showing the true colour of this card because it definitely looks more duck egg blue than mint green. That doesn’t matter at all because todays card is a beauty.
Jean - glad your granddaughter is feeling a little brighter x
Take care one and all x
Sending you all positive thoughts x
