Merry Christmas
Hello my crafty friends! I have a cute shadowbox Christmas card to share today. I started by cutting the Slimline Shadowbox in white. I added a cobalt blue backing piece to it. Using the Slimline Rectangle Frames, I added a white frame over the shadowbox. Starting at the bottom in the largest box, I added the snowman and sign with a snow shovel. The snowman came from the Slimline Festive Accessories set, but the shovel and sign came from the Build A Snowman set. I added a small Christmas tree and present to the box above. The Christmas tree and present came from the Festive Accessories set. A red stocking from the Festive Accessories with fur added using Fluffy Stuff was added to the next box. Above I used a green wreath with a red bow from the 3D Fireplace set. Three small gold and red poinsettias in the upper left box came from the Christmas Accessories. Finally an ornament cut out of gold card was added from the Festive Accessories set. The card was completed with white and cobalt blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 3/4" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x
Hi Sue. I adore this sample, I look like the Cheshire cat lol. I really must order those accessories and I must think about designs for the cards I'll be asked for. Thanks for the ideas you share. What a gorgeous slimline card this morning. I think this will be great for the kids and also great for them to have a go at making their own cards. They will love the little Christmas dies. This is s beautiful example of the simplicity of Sue's dies, easy to use with the most fabulous results! There's not one I don't like. Love this card and I imagine was a fun make too x
