Friends Are Like Seashells

Hello bloggers!  I started by taping the Seashell stencil to a piece of white card.  I used Clear Texture Paste through the stencil with a plastic palette knife.  While the stencil was still in place, I used Coral Crush Pixie Sparkles all over the design.  I lightly spritzed it with water to activate all the powder, then carefully removed the stencil and set it aside to dry.  I cut a frame using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added it in the corner with mounting foam.  I cut two Starfish from the Under The Sea Creatures and a seaweed from the Aquatic Plants set and added the Friends Are Like Seashells sentiment above it.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  24. What I like about your cards Sue is the diversity of the designs. We go from Halloween, to Christmas, to summer holidays in one week. Some are with diecuts for the focal element whereas this is the stencil taking centre stage. So much inspiration for us. Thank you Sue.
