Hi there my crafty friends! We are finally at the last post of the release. This one is dedicated to the Lattice Background. I love that this background can be used with absolutely anything! I have used it over a stencilled background and it looks lovely (at least I think so!). Plus you get some really cool little squares as fall away pieces that you can use for shaker cards too! ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sample of what you can do with a couple of new dies, saying that I don't use background dies, I do love and use my folders a lot or just have plain but slightly textured cardstock as my base, so as much as I love looking at your samples with background dies I wouldn't put it to good use so please give my chance to someone else.

Hi Sue, a brilliant card and I love the clever way you have used the new lattice background over a stencilled background and the angled candle topper is great. I really liked the cards with the 'wish big', 'fondest wishes' and 'best day ever' but as they are not sentiments that I can see me using I did not comment to give someone else a chance. This has been an interesting release with a good mix of dies and I am sure they will do well for you.

My two favourites would be the happy birthday mini sentiment as I have wanted another mini birthday die for ages, and I am so pleased that your new one is perfect for me. (Happy Birthday dies are one of my most used sentiments.) The other die set has to be your new Loopy Edged square nesting dies, but I love all of the dies that you have designed in this collection. This is the best Lattice background die I have ever seen. It can be used in so many ways and for so many occasions. Sue, your designs are always new and fresh.
