Joyful
Hello crafters! I selected a piece of white card and embossed it with the Nordic Tiles embossing folder. I cut it diagonally and then added mounting foam to both pieces. I added the two pieces onto another piece of powder pink card leaving a wide gap in the two pieces. I cut the Poinsettia Panel out of Old Rose card and extended it to make a longer piece. I added a strip of self adhesive sticky sheet to the gap area. I glued the old rose die cut into the gap and trimmed it even on both edges. I sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the exposed adhesive areas in the panel. I cut the Joyful word out of old Rose card and glued it onto the shadow backing piece cut in white. I added it to the top section of the card with mounting foam. Using the Poinsettia Trio, I cut two flowers out of Old Rose card and added them to the lower portion of the card. I added white leaves and pine sprigs from the Foliage Pieces die set as accents. The card was completed with white and old rose mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 10" in size.

Hi Sue.
ReplyDeleteAnyone that doesn't have the Nordic tile folder won't see it to its full potential even professional photography wouldn't do it justice its such a lovely design.
I'm a real fan of the old Rose and powder pink cardstock both separately and together like your beautiful design here. Although you've added the 'Joyful' sentiment I see this design being used more for a wedding or milestone anniversary, all in all its a beautiful piece of inspiration. Looking forward to seeing what you have for us over the next few days.
Sending much love to you both and all that visit today xx
Morning Sue.
