Wishing You Well

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of white card that I cut with the Double Stitched Squares.   I embossed it with the Bed Of Roses embossing folder.  Next I used Wisteria Matt Chalk Polish over the top of the embossing, leaving the floor of the embossed card white.  I matted it with black card.  I cut the Cecelia die twice, once in white and once in black.  I used the black die cut as a shadow.  I cut a small multi-layered frame out of wisteria card using the Double Stitched Circles.  I added them together with mounting foam, then added a white backing piece to the frame.  I attached it in the centre of the Cecelia die cuts.  I cut the Wishing You Well die in wisteria and black and shadowed the sentiment then glued it in the frame.  I added a larger piece of wisteria card to the back of the card so far.  I used white PVA glue to add the Paved Pearl edge around the card.  There is a tutorial at the top of the blog on how to do the Paved Pearl Technique that you can click on to see it done.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Oh wow so much to look at, it's inspiration I'd love to see in real life. My first thought was that it's one of those beautiful pieces of work that's so tactical, it's perfect to give someone whose sight isn't the best, they would love something like this I'm sure.
    Hope you are both well.
Love to all, stay safe and keep well, hope you're managing to enjoy your holiday Crew Trish despite the overpowering heat xxx

  15. Lovely card. I might have cheated and used an embossing folder rather than risking trying to put pva dots as mine WakeyL
