Say Yes To New Adventures

Hello bloggers!  Here's another cute card using the new Nautical themed Paper Pad!  I selected the sheet in the pad with the tiny sailboats for my sailboat card!  Next I cut the Beach Sailboat Stained Glass die, starting with the background. I cut it in red.  I covered a piece of navy blue card with a sticky adhesive sheet and attached the red background to it.  I used Canadian Blue Polished Silk Glitter on the exposed adhsive areas.  I cut the centre die in white and layered it up, then I cut the Sailboat centre die out of both Navy Blue card and red card.  I used the navy die cut as the base and I cut the sailboat out of the red die cut and glued it on top.  I cut a piece of adhesive sheet to fit the horizon line of the water and followed it along around the half circle.  I added it to a piece of white card, then attached the die and hand trimmed all the way around.  I added the same blue gitter to the exposed adhesive where the water is in the design.  I put in a few hand drawn seagulls in the sky.  I added a preprinted sentiment below the focal element.  The card was completed with red, white and blue mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.   All for now, Sue x

Great card, the blue glitter just adds a good
    sparkle, and lifts the card.

Hi Sue and everyone, what a gorgeous sample today. I love the red, white and blue look and the nautical look is great for those difficult men in our lives that we never know what to put on their cards.
Sorry I have a massive catch up this time, I need to set a reminder, as my emails aren't coming for some reason. I also have to keep putting my name in now too, not sure whats going on lol.

    Hugs Donna xx
