Congratulations
Hello crafters! I started by creating a background using Pixie Sparkles. I used Coral Crush and Red Oxide Pixie Sparkles. Once dry, I embossed the piece using the Floral Brocade embossing folder. Using the Vintage Label Frames, I cut a larger white frame and attached it to the background with mountng foam. Next I cut two smaller dies in the set and matted them, then attached them to the centre of the frame. Next, I cut the Congratulations die out of soft salmon card and shadowed it in black. I glued the sentiment across the centre of the card. Using the Mini Cosmos dies, I made three flowers and added green leaves then seated them under the sentiment. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size.

What a dramatic and explosion of Pixie colour, and those dainty mini cosmos are just so cute and beautiful, one sample I'd love to see 'for real' I actually planted my white and pink Cosmos plants yesterday, can't wait to see them come into full bloom. Hi Sue. What a really lovely background you have created for this card. It would work equally well for either gender (although I may want to use a different embossing folder for the men). I love the shape of the frames you have used which shows up so nicely having been cut in white card.
Great card, especially the background. I always forget to emboss a pixied background. Very fitting sentiment for all of yesterdays winners too. The little cosmos flowers just add that special finishing touch.

Hi Sue and everyone, ohhh how unusual is the background that you created today. I love the colours and the texture seems to fit it amazingly. The shaped dies layered onto pop from the dark background.
