Belated Birthday Wishes
Good Sunday morning all! Here's another clean and simple styled card. I embossed a piece of white card using the new Balloons embossing folder. I selected a piece of pixied card from my background stash. I used Sun Yellow and Straw Yellow Pixie Powders. Using the Dotty Balloons die set, I cut one of each of the different balloons out of the pixied card. I backed them with white backing balloons. I cut one of each of the different strings out of black card. I added mounting foam to the back and then attached the balloons to the card. I cut the Belated Birthday sentiment in black and glued it to the upper left cormer of the card, The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finshed dimensions are 7" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x

Nice to have you home Jan. I absolutely love my balloons and use to use them such a lot give me a 7x7 square card two shades of beautiful blue for the males, mat and layer continue the blue into the balloons and sentiment - done, same with the ladies and although it can be tricky the rainbow colours of Pride, you help us make the most effective cards be they large or small, floating over name settings, part of wedding/occasion favours etc now you've added the embossing folder which I also absolutely love and need as a standby in hopes my card making days return. Hope everyone feels OK today, and I send love to all this Sunday xxx

Hi Sue. What a good idea to use the balloons as we would usually use flowers to decorate a card. This would work so well for those who would not really want flowers on their card.
Morning Sue - I had noticed these new EFs had come out last month, and absolutely love all 3 of them! Love today’s card too, and of course the new balloon EF is just perfect to set off the 3 balloons. Simple but incredibly effective! Colleen xx
Hi Sue, this is a lovely bright and cheerful CAS card. The EF is the perfect partner for your dotty balloon dies (but of course it is, you designed it that way!) and really lifts the card.
