Belated Birthday Wishes
Good Sunday morning all! I embossed the background with the Stripes embossing folder for a bit of texture. Next I cut a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Ovals with a larger white frame on the bottom and a thinner black frame on top. I cut the Butterfly Shaped Card die in black. I added a piece of acetate to the back and used Polished Silk Glitters applied to the back with Cosmic Shimmer glue. I allowed it to dry overnight then cut a very thin strip of black card and folded it to make the antennae. I added the butterfly to the left side of the frame and cut the Belated Birthday Wishes and glued it insde the frame. Using the French Marigold flower die, I made one flower and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I added it to the right side of the frame with some leaves from the Pinwheel Floral die set as accents. The card was completed with whitemats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning from a cooler, wet, and dull Yorkshire for the last time..... home today. If I received a card like this Sue I wouldn't care how late it was, the design is just beautiful but your butterfly takes it to another level. In my opinion the polish silk glitter range was made for these intricate dies and your stained glass collection. They have to be the best glitters on the market, not like those cheaper glitters that they put on none loved manufacturers cards that follow you from room to room and you're frightened to breath on, you know the kind I'm cringing about lol. This is certainly the most beautiful inspiration and I think one of the nicest you've showcased this past week. Hope everyone is feeling well. Love to all xx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a stunning creation this morning, the colourful butterfly is really beautiful and love the antenna, what a clever idea. The flowers with the glitter on amazing and on the black and white background it is perfect.
