You Are My Anchor
Hello crafters! I started this one with another background from my pixied stash. I just love how they look like water for these cards! I used Teal Marine and Golden Mint Pixie Powders on it. Next I cut the You Are My Anchor Frame in tan, gray, blue, pink, black and rust card. I used the tan card as the base and shadowed it with the black die cut. I cut out the individual elements out of the different colours and added them to the tan die cut. I added the frame on to a white shadow backing and attached it to the left side of the card. I used the inner rope oval for the sentiment and added the You Are My Anchor in black inside of it. On the right side of the card I added the scuba diver, some bubbles and the aquatic plants in an array of seaweed sort of colours. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant card thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Hi Sue, I think this new collection will be fun for those that have an enjoyment in snorkeling diving or anything to do with the ocean. Stay safe and well xxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Sue, I think these new dies are fantastic for male cards, not all men are into sport or beer drinkers, so this collection is just right for the hard to make for men. Love Jean xxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what I like about your dies are the attention to detail, on this sample it looks like the flowers and twigs etc are moving in the water, yes I know it is an illusion but I can just see them going from one side to another. The frame is gorgeous as it the wonderful sea backing colours you have created, absolutely gorgeous all of it.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hi Sue. I would have to agree with you that the pixie backgrounds are great for underwater scenes. Love the way you have placed the diver onto the background and placed the main panel to the side.

A lovely card today. The pixie powders used to create the background are perfect for underwater scenes, indeed. I agree with Jean Phillips 1, these new dies are a fantastic option in addition to sports and beer for men's cards.
