Happy Retirement
Hi crafters! I started with a piece of Cobalt Blue card and used the Pearl Whisper Airless Mister across it to give the illusion of a peaceful nighttime sky. I used the moon from the Moonlit Owl die set cut out of silver card and glued it in the upper corner. I cut the House Front Shaped Card die out of Arctic Blue card. I added tan roofs and shutters to all the windows. From the House Accessories die set, I used white vellum for the curtains behind the windows with a bit of yellow ink behind them to look like the lights were on. I added a couple of topiaries and a wreath to the door. The dog was sitting outside the house while the cat is in the doorway. I cut the Happy Retirement sentiment in white and attached it to the side of the house. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Hi Sue, wow, clever. The dark sky background with a touch of mystery. I loved your card fronts and the accessory die collection when you showcased them at launch. Every single crafter that chooses to use these dies will have something totally different at the end unless they follow a video step by step. I've made some stupid choices in my life but the most ridiculous is not owning either this or the cottage, but I'll rectify that and Easter is on the doorstep and Im usually given a die rather than chocolate so fingers crossed lol.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, brilliant sample, I have these dies and they are fantastic, the detail on them is amazing. When my son and family moved to there new 6 bedroom house this year I made a card for them based on the brickwork and colours of the doors etc, also made a picket fence to go around, they were so pleased with it.

I love this set. I used it for Christmas and to welcome several new neighbors into our neighborhood. Here is another use which I had not thought of. I enjoy "decorating" the house... and made them to match the houses of people who I sent it to.
