Beach Sailboat Stained Glass

Good Sunday morning all! I have a one die card to share today!  I started by cutting the background to the Beach Sailboat Stained Glass out of red card.  I added a white backing to it.  I cut the circular frame in white then added the centre sailboat die, also cut in white.  I used Tumbled Glass distress ink on the water lines, then cut just the sailboat base in blue and the flag in red.  I hand cut them  and glued them onto the original white die cut.  I added mounting foam to the back of the entire piece, then added it onto a larger piece of white card that I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz around the edge for a bit of bling.  The card was competed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. This is so lovely, it reminds me of a series of marine pictures on a wall of a holiday cottage in Cornwall some years ago, there is some lovely fabric of pretty sailing boats that proprietors use to make curtains, and cushion covers etc so imagin this new collection in little frames displayed on a wall - beautiful.
Have a good day everyone xx

  9. Good Morning Sue. A lovely card today Sue. I love how you have done the waves under the boat. It looks very effective. And also it looks to me like we are looking through a pothole from another boat. Great idea this Sue. Thankyou.
