Just For You

Hello crafters!  Here's a sweet card for you!  I started with the Decorative Heart Aperture die and cut it into a piece of white card, leaving a wide margin around it. I used the Slimline Essential Frames and added a thin frame cut out of raspberry card around the outside of the apertures.   I added a backing piece behind the aperture of a piece of white card.  Using the Mini Cosmos die set, I created three sizes and colours of flowers and hand drew some stems with a fine line black pen.  I added some green leaves from the set to all the flowers.  I added flowers to all three apertures for that pretty pop of colour and used a pre printed sentiment at the bottom of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Oh Sue this inspiration is so sweet, cute and very very precious. The colours are so pretty, something is telling me how much I need the mini cosmos collection, I have them in my garden every year so why not have them in my new storage collection all year round, the answer is simple.     That's a beauty - I adore the teeny-tiny flowers, though I can just imagine how covered in glue I'd be, with a card with flowers not at all where I wanted them to be! What's your best tip for working with such tiny die-cut pieces?
