Happy Birthday

Hello there my crafty friends!  Here's my favourite card with the Hawaiian Shirt die.  I started with a piece of Duck Egg blue card as the background.  I embossed the Dotty Waves folder, then hand cut it just below half the card.  I lightly inked it with Tumbled Glass to look like waves and glued it to the bottom edge of the blue card.  I cut several palm trees from the Island Paradise set and added them to the background.  I also cut some clouds from the Twinkle Twinkle Clouds and Stars set and added them as well.  I used the small plane and banner from the same set and hand wrote Happy Birthday on it.  For the shirt, I cut the backing piece in white, then used some tropical paper that I found in my paper stash for the actual shirt.  I cut it again in white and used just the collar and centre button area and glued it on the shirt as well as the pocket.  I cut pink and yellow flowers and glued them around the neck like a tropical lei.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
