Love

Hi bloggers!  I didn't quite get all my heart themed cards on the blog before Valentine's Day, still have a few more to share.  I started this card by cutting the Heart Aperture out of white card.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it.  I embossed a piece of white card with the Bed Of Roses folder and attached the aperture to it to use as a backing.  I cut a red frame using the Noble Decorative Hearts die set and glued it around the centre heart aperture.  From the Heart Accessories die set, I cut the love heart in red and recessed it into the centre heart aperture.  I cut the single rose and the miss you and added them into the left heart aperture.  For the right aperture, I cut the Be Mine and the bow and arrow.  I used the single rose head and cut six of them cut in red and added them into opposite corners.  I added green leaves as accents to them.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5 1/4"  x  9 3/4" in size.

    Hi Sue, I was able to pop through the door of Particraft and keep up with your inspiration but I felt it wrong to start posting on the day of your new launch so I sat congratulating you with my own pina colada (holiday drink of my choice) on the sidelines.
    All is brilliant in the family with lots to be grateful for after the results of our daughters mastectomy, I'm still tearful but for different reasons than last August. That's all I'm saying on the subject.
    OK so I'll put my hands up and come clean, I've never been a lover of valentines designs, I like the subtle designs with meaningful verses, I just used your Alpha dies plus a little heart to make my keepers card 'I ❤ You' plain and possibly boring to many but I did the shadow technique with foundations red cardstock and it popped quite nicely.
    So good luck to all that took part in the launch and hope to see more of you more often.
