I'm Thinking Of You

Good Sunday morning all!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Geo Trellis embossing folder for some texture in the background.  Next I cut the Gerbera Stained Glass Circle in black.  I glued it to a piece of clear acetate and working from the reverse side, I added glue to each section one colour at a time.  I started with the darkest color which was the violet and filled it that flower with glue, glittered it then tapped it off, then worked on the next section.  I did both flowers then filled in the background with Sparkle Star glitter and set it aside to dry over night.  Once dry, I glued it to the background and added an accent with the Bauble Branch cut in white.  I cut the I'm Thinking Of You sentiment in black and glued it to the upper corner.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  15. Morning Sue. Another lovely card again today. Those stained glass flower dies are perfect for using all those different techniques as they have so many open spaces (I just have to try to remember what all the techniques are)

  18. Morning Sue and all! What a stunning card - the glitters add a subtle but beautiful bling to the flower against the white background. I love the fact that the embossed background has been cut into panels - really adds a professional polish to an already stunning card! Take care, Colleen x

One of my favourite crafting tools are embossing folders they make any plain card into a work of art! Add one of your beautiful dies and you have the Wow factor!
