Happy Valentine's Day

Hello crafters!  I thought I would show you the second card that I made with the leftover from yesterday's card!  Waste not, want now, right!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Geo Trellis embossing folder.  I added the heart that was taken out of the aperture from yesterday's card.  I attached it with mounting foam to the centre.  I cut the Happy Valentine's Day in black and white card and used the white one behind this time and glued it in the centre of the heart.  I made a single flower from the Heart Leaf Flower die set and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I added it along side the heart and added a Bauble Branch in white as an accent to it. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  2. Good morning Sue and friends. I'm intrigued with the heart, should the 'pips' surrounding the heart be fall away but somehow its all stayed intact, is it the design and designed like that orrrr, have you the patience of a Saint and replaced every single tiny little 'pip' back into the heart? I wish I'd had an order where I can use the Bauble Branch to sit one of your beautiful flowers on, mind you Sue, your pub sign, beer jugs, and Art Deco Alpha dies came in useful yesterday for a males 30th so thank you for that design collection. I look forward to any other heart related inspiration you have for us, always lovely to have, but even more so to 'jump-start' our mojo lol.
Love to all, be happy, stay safe and well xxx

  6. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I thought I was seeing things when I first looked at this one then I realised it was the left over pieces from yesterdays card, I am loving the geo trellis embossing folder in the background and the flowers, brilliant.

  9. Hi Sue. How great to see what you could do with the "waste" from yesterday's card, but the best thing is that both cards are completely different. Love them both.

  34. 2 for 1 - love it! I always plan to use the "waste" but somehow I almost always forget to use it. One day I should take the "waste" box and make some cards out of it. Sounds easy, but ... we'll see. Thanks for the inspiration , Sue.

Hugs from Toronto to you all.
    Stay safe and healthy.
