I'm Thinking Of You

Hi crafters!  I hve a pretty peachy colured card to share today.  I started with a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it and cut numerous French Marigolds out of soft salmon card.  I randomly stuck them down onto the sticky adhesive sheet as close as possible without over lapping them.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to fill in the remaining exposed adhesive and give the background a bit of bling.  Next I cut the Scalloped End Rectangles in both white and Soft Salmon card.  I added them to the centre of the card, raising the salmon frame slightly with mounting foam.  I cut two smaller ones for the centre for the sentiment.  I used the I'm Thinking Of You sentiment which I cut in white and black.  I shadowed it with the black and glued it to the centre of the frame.  I made one flower using the French Marigold set.  I cut it in white and dusted the edges with Tattered Rose Distress ink and seated it in the upper right corner of the frame with a couple of leaves cut in white as accents.  The card was completed with white, soft salmon and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Hi Sue.
This is just a gorgeous delicate beautiful way to show someone you care you really have a lovely heart and it shows in your designs, you have fun ideas, sassy ideas, and caring inspiration for us all - thank you.

I'm in trouble lol. I treated myself to your puppy Santa paws collection, because I'm worth it, 'my keeper's and I got into a convo of how tight the packaging is now you give us ideas on the inside and I grabbed.... guess which packaging? Oowsh my cute pups lol to which I was asked "any more 'treats'? Ooohhh dear his first one and only return Christmas gift even before the day arrives lol that didn't work well did it lol only one consolation I've been asked to choose another to take its place, but I'm still up to my eyebrows in this blinkin card order.... see what I did there?
Sorry. Love to you all, thinking of anyone that doesn't feel so good today, stay safe and well xxx

  26. This card is really beautiful. It’s clear my preference is for pastel shades, although I like bold colours but just not ‘messy’ (to my mind) backgrounds.

  36. Hi Sue, a really pretty card and I love the soft salmon cardstock but oh what a lot of repeat cutting of the marigold dies; you must have the patience of a saint.
