Festive Greetings
Hello crafters! I started by having a wade through my scrap box and pulled out some red, a couple of pink and a couple of shades of green. I put a sticky adhesive sheet on a piece of copy paper and lined up the strips of card (all 1/2" wide). Next I cut a multi-layered frame using the Clipped Corner Rectangles with a wider white base and a thinner red frame on top. I added it with foam over the striped background. I cut the Greetings Big Bold Word in black and glued it to the centre of the frame. Using dries clear glue, I filled in each of the letters and sprinkled Iced Snow on them. When the glue dried, it left a bling on each of the letters that was see through. I stamped the rest of the sentiment and cut it out with the tag die in the set and added it with foam to the left side of the frame. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue.

Hi Sue and friends. Just had a thought, maybe the background could coinside with the flag of the recipient providing they are patriotic lol just a thought.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that the Big Bold dies are for all year round and would make brilliant batch cards as a time saver. A bright, colourful, cheerful sample to make us smile.

Good morning Sue and all.
ReplyDeleteA very different card today and I think it's the first one that doesn't really tempt me.
Maybe that's because I'm stuggling to see this morning and everything is a little topsy turvey.
I'll come back to it later.
Bye for now.

Good Morning Sue. This is great ... a wonderful sample ... And the one I was lucky enough to win in the first Christmas launch earlier in the year. I have also used it for men's birthday cards and they looked great. So yes a very versatile die which I am happy I won. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
