Out Of This World

Hello there my crafty friends1  Here is a really quick birthday card for just about anyone!  I started with a piece of pixie powdered card.  I used Midnight Blue on it.  Next I cut the Out Of This World die in white and black.  I used the black as a shadow behind the white one, then attached the pixied card behind it.  I used a bit of the leftover pixied card and cut the die again, but I kept the fall away stars from it.  I nipped away the star outlines too.  When I cut the white die cut, I left a wide border around it and randomly added the stars around the order.  I used Clear Cosmic Lacquer and added it to the star outlines inside the border for a bit of a high gloss look.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 5"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Good morning Sue, my apologies for missing yesterday's post. I loved that gorgeous card on launch and it is one that I have saved for reference. I have lots of papers that get overlooked but I think now is the time to pull them out.

    Hi Sue. What a very good idea to extend the design of the die by adding extra stars to the border. It just goes to show that you can use the dies just as they are to make a really quick card or you can make it more elaborate by adding a few extras.
