May Your Days Be Merry

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started with a piece of taupe card and cut the Poinsettia from the Decorative Holly Accents die set in white.  I nipped away the outline of the leaves on all of them and glued them randomly all over the taupe card.  I cut a strip of taupe card and backed it with a thin white mat, then added it across the background.  I cut the Star Wreath out of antique gold card and glued it to the eft of the taupe strip.  I cut the Merry Die/Stamp combo in white and glued it to the taupe strip.  I stamped the rest of the sentiment using the stamps from the merry set and cut the tag out and added it above the taupe strip.  I made a poinsettia by cutting the Classic poinsettia die out of white vellum.  I attached it on top of the star wreath and added two gold Holly Sprays as accents.  The card was completed with white, taupe and gold mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Beautiful. Soothing restful and peaceful.
I bought the Snowman and the wreath die a few weeks ago on my first visit to my little local craft shop in 18 months, I'm not sure how much time or concentration I'll have this year to get my festive order started let alone completed but at least I have them plus the dogs are on order too. Sending love to all xxx
