Festive Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I started with a piece of white card that I covered with Midnight Blue Pixie Powders, then spritzed with water.  I cut the Swirling Rays background out of both white and black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white die cut, then added it over the pixied card.  I cut a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Squares with a wider white frame and a thinner black frame under it.  I added the frame with mounting foam over the background.  I cut an oval and added the Festive Wishes to it that I cut out of the leftover card from the background.  I also cut enough flowers using the Classic Poinsettia die to make three poinsettias out of it as well.  I seated the flowers in opposite corners and added some white Evergreen Branches as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow, wow, wow, this sample is gorgeous, not that all your cards are not gorgeous but you know what I mean, the blue is such a vibrant backdrop for the white, with the flower and sentiment. Also the die when cut out would make a lovely stencil too. Love it xx
