Cosmos Floral Panel

Good Sunday morning all!  I started this pretty floral panel card by cutting the Queen Anne's Lace panel that is part of the Cosmos Floral Panel die set.  I cut it twice in white, leaving a gap in the centre.  I backed it with a piece of Arctic Blue card.  Next I cut the Cosmos Floral Panel in white, green and powder pink.  I used the white one as the base, then nipped away just the floral portion in the green and glued it on top.  I hand cut the three flowers out of the panel, then glued them on top.  I coloured the centres yellow then added clear micro beads to each of the flower centres.  I added this panel to the centre of the card with mounting foam.  I cut three small butterflies out of powder pink and added them to the panels.  I cut a wide white frame using the Double Stitched Squares and added it to the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

  6. Hello Sue and all
Sorry I haven’t been in each day but the recovery from the knee replacement has been quite a bit tougher than expected, just starting to see daylight now after a couple of problems. Just can’t wait to get back to my craft room and today’s gorgeous card makes me want to create even more. Love the pastel shades and the Queen Anne’s lace- so pretty.
    Hugs

    1. Bless you Muriel it can't be easy with lockdown too. My mentra is 'tomorrow is a new day' but sometimes that new day can be just as painful, so maybe if you know we are ALL thinking of you our virtual friendship may help you get through. Make a note of all the samples you want to try, and before you know it you'll be crafting away better than ever xxx🌷
