Good Sunday morning all! I have another quick and easy card to share today. I used a piece of scrap card from my stash for the background (It's nice when you can find that perfect little scrap to work for a card, isn't it!). I was created using Lime Sherbert and Turquoise Cascade Pearlescent watercolour inks. I cut the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Aperture Trio in white and added it with foam munting tape over the background piece. I used the Button Flowers cut in white in the two side apertures. I glittered the flowers and added little pearls in the flowers centres as accents. I cut the Miss You in white and black, shadowed it and glued it to the centre aperture with a cuple of dainty flowers. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now. Sue x
Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card thank you.
Take care and have fun Kitty.
Hi Sue. Scrap - like 100's of friends here I have boxes and boxes, bags and bags that I can't part with even tiny corners I keep for your tiny garden accessory dies or the smallest petal dies, I just can't get rid, some of the boxes are even organised in various shades of blue or yellow etc a real ombre of sheer beauty lol. So I know what you mean when you find something that fits perfectly, talking about perfection here we have another perfect inspiring sample that maybe small but has a huge message right in the centre with your tiny flowers to add that perfect smile xxx

Good Morning Sue. A very apt sample for this morning Sue. This lovely little slimline card with a very meaningful message for the times says it all. It's doesn't have to be huge ... It doesn't have to be full of bling and flowers and buttons and bows. It's beautiful and says the words that so many of us at the moment are feeling. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
