Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Hi bloggers!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Nordic Tiles embossing folder.  Next, I cut the Merry Big Bold word Die/stamp combo out of black card.  I glued it to the shadow backing which I cut in white.  Next I cut the Merry word die again, bit out of Ruby Red card this time.  I used the fallaway pieces and I paper pieced them back into the Merry word die.  I added glue to each of the letters then sprinkled them with Iced Snow and allowed it to dry well.  I stamped the Poinsettia Stampcuts die using black ink, then ran it through the die cutting machine to ink and cut it.  I used Festive Berries and Forest Moss Distress markers to colour it.  I seated the poinsettia in the lower right corner and added white accents from the Poinsettia Garland die set.  I stamped the other part of the sentiment in two sections, then cut them out and mounting them above and below the main word.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x 7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Morning Sue and everyone. This is lovely. It's so modern and just what the younger generation would love, not slushy, not overly Christmassy although it spells out Christmas lol I'm hoping someone will get what I mean ! All in all I love it and I'd have it on show long after the tree had been recycled. Your big and bold dies are really growing on me Sue. Love to all xxx

  10. Good Morning Sue. Fabulous Christmas card today. It looks Christmassy too ... If you know what I mean. I have yet to use my big bold greetings die. But the wait will be worth it. I am loving the background embossing folder too. Thankyou Sue.

I have been reduced to tears and feeling sick these last few days ... Seeing all the destruction by fire in Turkey. It's a beautiful place and the people are so lovely. They have lost their homes and familys ... and animals that work for them. PLEASE say an extra prayer 🙏 for them all.

Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

    PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏

Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.
