Hello bloggers! Here's a quick and easy card for any birthdays in which you need a card! I started with a piece of white card and sprinkled
Midnight Blue Pixie Powders all over it. I spritzed it with water then covered it with a piece of cling film and scrunched it. I allowed it to dry overnight, then removed the cling film. I cut the
Happy Big Bold Word in both black and white. I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the white one and glued it to the background. I stamped the Wish Big and Birthday and cut them out with the tag die in the set, then added them with mounting foam. I made three glittered
Button Flowers and added a few leaves from the
Magnolia Corner as accents. I added a glittered border using
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz around the edge of the card, then added white and black mats and layers to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another gorgeous birthday card, I love the midnight blue pixie powdered background you have created, it is perfect for the 'Birthday' die, really makes it pop. It is handy to batch make a few of these backgrounds, let them dry and hey presto they are there when you want them. As you say a quick and easy card to make, and we always get asked for a quick card don't we.

I like how these big word dies can be used in so many ways. I made one for a friend covered in flowers and for my brother I stamped a sports car on to white card and cut out the happy die and paper pieced it. Now I am having fun making Christmas cards.Take care everyone x

Hi Sue. This card shows just how quick and easy it is to create a striking card using this die (if you already have the background made in advance). I always think that dark blue and white are such a classy combination.
