Be Brave

Hello bloggers!  Another safari themed card for you today!  I used the Animal Print embossing folder on a piece of white card.  I lightly went over the top with the Taupe Chalk Matt Polish to highlight the embossing.  I made a multi-layered frame using the Stitched Rectangles.  I made a wider white frame base with a thinner black frame on top.  I stamped the Rhino stamp and cut it out with the matching Rhino die.  I cut away everything but the rhino's head and coloured it with Distress Markers.  I added the Rhino's head to the left side of the frame with mounting foam, then added the frame over the embossed background (with more mounting foam).  I stamped the tag and sentiment from the Wild About You Clear Stamp set and coloured it with Distress Markers.  I cut the tag out with the matching Safari Tags die set.  I added the tag with mounting foam to the inside of the frame.  The card was completed with white, tan and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

    Good Morning Sue and all.
Thank you Sue for another lovely Safari card. I just made one only yesterday and for the very first time made a Pixie background that I like. I used one of your previous cards for guidance. I am too old to match your perfection and whilst still wallowing in self gratification I decided to start another different card using stamps for the first time. Big mistake. I think I've ruined 3 brand new Fairy stamps.
I just love that Rhino that you've done. You have made him look very appealing and the background is lovely.
    Thank you Sue.

  10. Good Morning Sue. Brilliant card. Everything about it is just fabulous ... And I know just the Family I'd send it to. I would do it in Blue ... Yellow and White. And send it to my Sister and her family. Here in Yorkshire we have the best Rugby League team. My Sister and her family are the biggest fans ever. And that team is called ... ... THE LEEDS RHINOS ... So Thankyou so much for your inspiration and for the many many ways in which we use it.
Sending hugs ๐Ÿค— and best wishes to everyone who needs them.
    PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™

  25. Your rhino has a face that says it’s ok to be reminded how strong you can be even when you look like you’re the strongest. I love the texture and the sentiment is so appropriate for most people during this time when we’re all struggling with life changes from a worldwide pandemic.
