Sending Love
Hello there my crafty friends! I was having a bit of a play with the Pearl Tints and came up with this background. I started with a piece of aceate and added Chateau Rose and Blue Diamond Pearl Tints all over randomly. I lightly spritzed it with water to help move it around, then covered it with a piece of scrunched up tissue paper (so a pearly caught in crystal look). I cut it to size, then added a piece of white card as a backing. I cut the Flowering Dogwood Floral Panel in both white and black, but I used the white one as the shadow under the black die cut. I added a piec of white vellum to the back then glued it to the background. I used the Sending Much Love cut in black as the sentiment and glued it to the upper left corner of the card. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. Th finished dimensions are 6" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x

Stunning Sue, it's so pretty. You've given it almost a Rosie type of background and the dogwood panel is absolute gorgeous especially the way you put it together for today's beautiful inspiration, I don't think I'm being too greedy when I say I'd love to have those pixie colours, the beautiful Dogwood and your really lovely sentiment. All I can say that this week's samples have been really beautiful, I do hope Sam keeps popping in and still enjoying your beauty from behind the scenes. Love to each and every Particraft friend xxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a fantastic sample and I have never tried the tint on acetate with the tissue paper, must have a go at that. Thanks for the inspiration.
