Hello crafters! Here's another sweet card that I made using the dies from the recent May release. I started with an aqua background. I used the
Double Stitched Rectangles to cut three small frames out of
Ocean card and added them to the background with mounting foam. Next, using the
Elegant Arrangements, I cut three vases from
teal card. I cut the foliage from the die set out of two shades of green card, then added the flowers in custard, wisteria and soft salmon shades of card. I added small pearls to the centres of the flowers as accents. I arranged the flowers and foliage and tucked the ends under the vases in the three frames. I used the
Thinking Of You Shadowed sentiment cut out of teal and black card, then added to a white shadow and glued to the lower corner of the card. I completed the card with white and teal mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 9" in size.

Its going to be wonderful to see your new inspiration that incorporate dies from your May launch I know I said this last week but it really was my favourite for a long time, dies i know I'd use rather than 'just collect' anyway today's sample is lovely really lovely and I'm sending good luck wishes to our Particraft family. I have quite a few sets from the finishing touches collection so my mind is now working overtime as to creating something on a larger scale with maybe a clear dome for the vase......

ReplyDeleteThis card is beautiful! I love that you have the flowers that are so popular right now but they are flat for easier mailing. Using vases gives the opportunity to create flowers of all types and colors. Repeating the flowers and vases adds even more colors and texture. This card can be used for so many different occasions but Thinking of You is a definite favorite of mine.
