Sympathy Bold Word Die/Stamp Combo

Hi bloggers!  The next die that we are showcasing is the Sympathy Bold Word Die/Stamp Combo set.  While this is not the easiest die to have to use, unfortunately it is a necessary die that we all need from time to time.  The stamps that go with this die really help you say what you are feeling at the time too, which makes having to send this type of card a bit easier too.  If you don't have a sympathy die in your crafty arsenal, then why not leave a comment on this post so you might be able to win one.  Also, just to remind you, I have added the Pinterest button on the bottom of every post so if you do want to pin any of the dies or sample cards for a later time, they are there for you.  I will be back at 3pm for the next reveal.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Afternoon Sue and all Wilsonettes, Yes Sue, sadly unfortunately we do have to use this die on occasions, however the way you have used this is just perfect, not over the top or too in your face, if you see what I mean. Sadly it is a die that will be used often in these times.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  4. Hi Sue. We all find these cards difficult to make, is it over fussy, is it too plain, but giving us this new option will help keep this difficult kind of card simple and meaningful. Thanks for helping us during these times of uncertainty xxx

  27. Hi Sue. This card is very simple, classy and elegant.
Unfortunately I have just had to make two Sympathy cards. I wish I had already had this beautiful Bold Word die and stamp set before I made them as I did not really have the right words to put on my Sympathy cards. The matching stamps you have in your new Sympathy set are the perfect match to compliment the bold die brilliantly. A fantastic set Sue and I will definitely be collecting this one as it is an essential set for me to have in my crafty stash. Thank you. Lots of love Sue from Tres x x x

And I have had my fair share ... as others have ... over the lock downs we have had since last year. I only wish I could have had this set at the times I needed them. So this will certainly go on my list. Thankyou Sue. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds

  70. Sympathy cards are difficult to create but are necessary to bring comfort and love to those who are hurting. Even though this sentiment is bold, it isn’t overdone or overly large which makes it appropriate for a sympathy card.

  72. This is such a striking card - I keep scrolling back to admire it! I do believe I see the daisy panel from earlier in the launch, very cleverly cut to make a square backdrop to the simple sentiment.
If I won this set, I would hope for little opportunity to use the main die but I could make lots of use of the Sending love stamp, cut out like ticker-tape with the matching die

  73. I absolutely love the background from the daisy floral panel die set you used here. I feel with the subtle greens and teals, it really helps the Sympathy sentiment feel serene. For me this gives me some comfort because I know "from dust we come and to dust we shall go". I love how well thought out the additional stamps were. I know how difficult it is to do Sympathy cards and to find the words necessary to help the person(s) receiving it to know how much you care about them. Love the card and colors used. I will be adding this die to my collection.
