Just Because

Hello crafters!  I used Pixie Powders to start the background for today's card.  I used Sun Yellow and Burnt Orange Pixies, then covered them with a piece of cling film and scrunched it up and let it dry.  Once dry, I removed the cling film and used the Graduated Dots embossing folder to add texture to the background.  I cut the Because Big Bold Word in black and glued it to the middle of the background.   Using the Double Stitched Rectangles, I added a thin white frame around the word.  I stamped the additions to the sentiment and cut them out with the tag dies, then added them above and below the main sentiment.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now. Sue x

Lovely bright card, I love these dies. I used Birthday for my grandson today, paper pieced with a piece of holographic glitter card and am so happy with it. 16 year olds can be hard to make for but these dies seem to be able to be adapted for anyone.
