Hope Your Birthday Is Unforgettable!

Good Sunday morning all!  I selected the A5 Pebble Paving Mask and taped it to a piece of milk card.  I randomly applied Vintage Photo, Weathered Wood and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide inks through it.  Next I stamped the Elephant and cut it out with the matching Elephant die.  I coloured the stamp with Distress Markers (Weathered Wood, Antique Linen, and Tumbled Glass).  I inked a piece of white card with Tumbled Glass and used it behind the elephant, raising the die with mounting foam on it.  I added the elephant to the right side of the card, then stamped the sentiment from the Wild About You clear stamp set.  I cut it out with the Safari Tags die set and added it with foam to the left hand corner of the card.  The card was completed with milk card mats and layers  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.     All for now, Sue x

  24. Hi Sue. What a great background today. I have this stencil from way back and I think that these dies and stamps certainly encourage us to get all our older stash out and think of using it in a different way to suit the new project.

  26. Great card. Whenever I see an elephant I think of my grandfather. He was in the army in India for many years & I have a set of 5 elephants that I treasure, which he brought back from India with him.
    Thank you Sue.

  29. Good Morning, Everyone.
I love the animal dies & stamps. I am actually making a birthday card at the moment with my prize from the launch. I did add the sentiment stamps & dies to my collection because it would have been rude not to. So much fun to color in and the card will be male or female perfect.
Hope everybody is well & happy,

  36. I like the play on words with the sentiment. When my daughter was growing up, she collected different elephants because “elephants never forget!” She still has her collection of elephants. She’d love this card!

    Hi Sue and Wilsonettes.
That Ellie is beautiful - and now that our Chester Zoo is opened again, it won't be long before can see my elephants again - I didn't get to see the baby yet and she must be getting on yet (more than a year old).........
    Hugs
