A Hug For My Friend

 Hi crafters!  I started by tapping the Puerto Rico Blocks mask to a piece of white card.  I used the Honeydew Matt Chalk Polish through the mask.  Next I covered the background with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet, then peeled the backing paper off and coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  Using the Double Stitched Square die set, I cut two thin frames out of Honeydew card and one slightly thicker frame out of white card.  I added the larger green frame to the top of the white frame, then added it over the background with mounting foam.  I added the thinner green frame inside of the larger frame.  From the Friend Die/Stamp Combo set, I stamped the sentiment on white vellum, then added the word Friend to it and attached it across the frame from edge to edge.  I made two glittered Button Flowers and added them to the left side of the vellum strip with Lace Edged Leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white and Honeydew card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

I've not much to say this morning apart from today's inspiration is just beautiful, the zesty lime colour (as it looks on my phone) looks lovely and summery and the bling from every inch of your sample makes me smile, it really is a beautiful design for many occasions and the sentiment gives us hope, lots of it.     Hi Sue and everyone todays card is lovely and fresh looking. Im loving the new stencil and lots of the other new ones, they will be finding there way to my house lol.
    I love what you do with the glitter bits too Sue, you must go through so many pots lol. Gorgeous little flowers too, I dont remember seeing the bottom flowers on launch day but they are gorgeous. Really enjoyed watching Jamie's shows, he is definitely one of my favourite crafters to watch along with yourself of course Sue.

    While I don’t particularly like green there are now two cards you have made where I rather like the green colour. This green is quite bright but has a softness about it which I rather like & I particularly like the wa6 you have done your frames. They really set the card off. Thankyou Sue.
