You Are The Best

Hi bloggers!  How about a simple but pretty pastel card.  I started with the Slimline Large Circles Background and cut it in white as my base.  Next I cut it again in custard, soft salmon and powder pink card and kept the fall away circles from each of them.  I paper pieced the circles back into the white base card, alternating colours.  I used the Slimline Essential Frames to add a multi-layered frame over it, using powder pink on the bottom and a thinner frame of custard on top.  I cut the You Are The Best sentiment several times in white and stacked them, then glued it to the top of the vertical card.  I used two simple Dandelion Clocks cut in white on the bottom of the card.  I added some white glitter to the tips of each of them.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

    Hello Sue and all.
A lovely and peaceful card to brighten the day.
The colours are beautiful and you make it sound so easy to put each one where it will be to the best advantage.
My 7th Great-Granddaughter was born yesterday and I spent the hours of waiting looking for my Special Delivery Die without success. I'll have another look and hope it jumps out at me '
    Have a lovely day.

  22. Good Morning Sue. You know ... when you introduced the January launch ... you completely turned around my crafting. I was lucky enough to win the stitches frames. Ohh Sue I love them. They are so versatile and unique. And this one is no exeption. Not only do I use my leftover pieces for these ... But just look what you have done . Now we can use every scrap we have to cut out circles. I LOVE IT.
I think this at will be next on my list. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

CONGRATULATIONS MARIE. On your new family arrival.

    PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

  24. Hi Sue. What lovely colours to use for the background today. I expect that having put so much work into the background you wouldn't want to cover it all up so it is a good idea to use a small sentiment and just a couple of flowers. I love the dandelion clock dies either on their own or behind other flowers.
