So Sweet Of You

Hello crafters!  I used the new Daisy Blooms Stampcuts for this card.  There are a couple of ways you can use these dies, but the way I do it is to place the die on a piece of copy paper on top of a foam mat.  I used Black Archival ink and tapped it all over to ink the die thoroughly.  Once inked, I carefully pick it up and place it onto card that I have waiting in the die cutting machine.  I use two pieces of card to get an extra emboss as it goes through the machine.  If for some reason you miss a spot when inking, the deep emboss makes it so easy to add the line back in too!  I cut two of the Daisy Blooms for this card and coloured them with Distress Markers.  If you want to use alcohol ink markers, you just need to use a water based ink to stamp with first.  I cut the Stitched Rectangle Aperture Trio out of white card and taped the daisy blooms to the back of the aperture, showing through at different angles in the outer openings.  I added a white card backing to it, then glued the So Sweet Of You sentiment in the middle aperture.  I used a blue pencil around the lettering (wish I had inked the area before adding the sentiment, but maybe next time)!  Using the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Frames, I added a white frame with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 1/2"  x 9" in size.
