Rhino

Hello crafters!  Welcome to day number two of the February die release launch.  We are starting with the Rhino.  I know they aren't the cutest of animals, but I just love this one!  It just says masculinity doesn't it with that tough hide and horn!  I also want to point out one of the four new safari collection stencils that are also being released with the collection.  This one is called Animal Prints and the stencil are all 7" x 7" in size.  I love that I was able to make them a tad larger than our other stencils as these dies look great on a larger card size!  If you are with me on this one, then leave a quick comment on the post and meet me back here at noon for the final animal die in the release.  I bet you can guess what it is going to be, right?  All for now. Sue x

  1. Hi Sue

Maybe not as cute as other animals but so unusual to have to make a card with. The stencils help too.

Great card. See you at 12.00. Could it be something that roars perhaps?

  7. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another gorgeous sample from this launch, I can think of quite a few family and friends who would love this on a card (one of them at least thinks he is like Tarzan ha ha ). Also loving the stencil, and I agree 7x7 are much better size to use.

  18. Good Morning Sue. Ohhh wow Sue another of the finest animals we are slowly losing. He/she is brilliant and perfect for our male species cards. Ohhh and the stencil ... Well what can we say other than ... brilliant. It's the kind of background that could be used on its own ... In a frame ... with one of your bigger Happy Birthday dies.j
I have a feeling that the next one might be the King of the jungle or one of our beautiful Tigers.
Whatever it's kind I think we are in for a treat. Thankyou Sue for these wonderful animals. Someone is going to be very lucky to win this set. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.

PLEASE STAY EXTRA SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

    Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.

  38. Hi Sue, a brilliant card and your rhino is a most imposing gentleman. They may not be cute but rhinos are still a very necessary part of our planet and it is such a shame that they are endangered. I love the expression 'a unicorn with attitude' it is a perfect description.

  47. Lovely card Sue, certainly masculine. This takes me back nearly 50 years, when my second son (he was always very mischievous) decided to enter the enclosure at the zoo where the young white rhino lived. I had bent down to empty a stone out of my eldest sons shoe & in that split second he was in! He wouldn’t manage it now the enclosures are far more secure. Dear little boy! Thank you Sue!

    Hello Sue and all Wilsonett's

I rather like the Zebra although I never could decide whether there were black stripes on a white animal or white stripes on a black one. You have got him well presented.
