Grateful Circle
Hello crafters! I started this card by taping the Blast Mask to a piece of white card. I used Mink Luna Paste through the mask then allowed it to dry thoroughly. Using the Double Stitched Circles, I cut an outer circular frame out of the pattern. I added mounting foam to raise the frame section, then glued the entire background on to another piece of white card, lining up the pieces. I used the Mink Luna Paste on another piece of card and let it dry, then cut out the Grateful Circle from it as well as three butterflies from the Petite Butterfly die set. I added a black shadow to the Grateful Circle die and glued it to a white backing piece. I added mounting foam and seated it in the centre of the background. I glued the three butterflies around it. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual sample but an interesting one, I'm not sure if it's the nicest mask you've ever shown us but its definitely universal for any gender. The moon is full and bright hope your day is as lovely xxx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh how I like this very much, the luna paste (remember Ally Pally Sue) brings back so many memories for me and this sample tops them, how lovely the circles look make with this, then cut and and layered, yummy, with such a beautiful sentiment. Yes I like this very much.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Hello Sue such a striking card, a beautiful sentiment and I like the mask . I like what you've done with the mask, useful for many occasions and genders too. Xx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteA very different card today. I don't have any of the pastes and I have not yet used any masks (although I do have some) I think I am afraid when it comes to colouring. I have enough pens to open a shop and most of them are still pristine..
I will come back and have another look later.
Thank you Sue.
Marie P.

Hi Sue and everyone, im loving todays sample, its like the suns rays are coming out from the sentiment and carrying the butterflies along on the rays of light. I love the raised part too and silver and white cards just look so elegant.

ReplyDeleteFabulous, I love this mask it’s a unisex one for sure. I love the way the pattern is uninterrupted but has depth due to the raised circle. Great idea!

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, a very nice card and the Mink Luna Paste is gorgeous. Love how you created the background, I had to look really closely as it gave the impression of more layers than it actually has.
