Thank You

Good Sunday morning all!  I found this sample from an older release the other day!  I started with a piece of tan card and taped the Retro Mask to it.  I used the Sahara Gold Glitter Kiss through the mask.  I removed the mask and allowed it to dry well.  Next I made a multi-layered frame using the Double Stitched Square die set.  I made a wider white base frame and added a thinner black frame to the top of it.  I added the frame over the dried mask background using mounting foam.  Next I cut the Eliza die in white two times.  I offset the two white masks then added them to another of the masks cut out of black card.  I cut a smaller circle die with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it.  I used two circle dies to cut an edge frame to add to my circle.  I cut them out of a piece of Glitter Kiss card.  I peeled the backing off the circle and added the frame, then cut the Thank You sentiment out of the Glitter Kiss card and set it into the centre.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz on the remaining exposed adhesive area.  I added the circle to the middle of the die cuts.  The card was completed with white, tan and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8" x  8"  in size.

We still have a couple of unclaimed winning dies.  Please make sure to scroll down and see if your name is on the list of winning dies from the blog launch!    All for now. Sue x

  25. Hi Sue
    Happy Sunday everyone x
I love the vintage (in my opinion) feel to today’s card. I think it’s the colours you have used. Reminds me a little of sepia tones x
Eliza is a little gem isn’t she? Had to have a little investigate as I couldn’t for the life of me remember her. October 2018 was her debut appearance. Can’t for the life of me understand why she does not seem familiar to me because she really is beautiful. I don’t even know if she is in my stash so more investigation is definitely needed!
Love the effect you have achieved by simply offsetting Eliza. I am sure there are lots of other dies which could be used in this way. It really is a little thing that gives a big wow x
Loved the shows yesterday. So good to see you - just wish we could have seen more of you. Although I do think that Gwen did a fantastic job.
A complete sell out - twice! You must be delighted. Which got me wondering - will there be more added to the slimline collection in the months ahead? Hmmmm! Time will tell. I hope so x
Well I’m off to have a cuppa and might even rewatch the shows from yesterday to stir me into crafty action x
    Crafty hugs

  26. Hi Sue, a very classy card and I think it is the colours that give it that feel. The glitter kiss on tan card is inspired and I love Eliza, she is really pretty. I was all set to watch Gwen again last night and was disappointed to find no show but then realized that meant you had sold out completely. I hope you are feeling very proud that your latest dies have received such a welcome.
