Wishing You Brighter Days

Hi bloggers!  I started by embossing the background using the Graduated Dots embossing folder.  Next I cut the Wishing You Brighter Days out of white card with another piece of Arctic Blue card behind it.  It cut the top piece completely through but only cut the outer shape on the bottom piece of card.  I used Distress Markers to colour the flowers and leaves.  I sprayed the blue card with spray glue, then lined up the white die cut on top of it.  Using Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, I coated the exposed adhesive.  I added a blue scalloped backing and attached it to the background with foam.  I cut the Magnolia Corner in white several times and used the extra floral die to make flowers to match the coloured flowers in the All In One die.  I assembled the flowers and attached them in opposite corners then added the Magnolia Corner pieces around them as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  3. Hello Sue and all
What a lovely card on this cool, rainy day here on the mid north coast of NSW - we are all wondering where summer is this year and with all of the restrictions coming back in it is a bright, happy ray of sunshine.

Ohhhhh this is the real you Sue, I think this means volumes to us since the Christmas restrictions changed and I'm certain I'm not the only person that feels so sad, i can't stop getting upset we were looking forward to so much long awaited fun with our Lottie, so today's inspiration is stunningly beautiful and so meaningful thank you. To our blog family with hand on heart I'm thinking of you so much too this year and to you Sue I hope life isn't too much of a struggle over the pond. Sending love. STAY SAFE KEEP CARING xxx 💖

  18. Good Mornings Sue. A fabulous classic Sue Wilson style card for us all to drool over this morning. I love it. And you must have chosen this especially for all of us that drop in every morning ... because this is what we all wish for each other ... And so appropriate with everything changing so quickly. Will we ever be back to normal. The one certain thing we wilsonettes have is knowing there is a brighter day every day when we open up our devices to see what goodies you have brought to us . Thankyou so much Sue for never letting us down. This is my morning ritual I look forward to every day. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
    PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏
