I'm Here For You

Hi there my crafty friends!  I selected another Pixie powder piece to use for today's card.  This one was created using Plum Aubergine and Plum Twist Pixie Powders.  Using the Whitney Background die, I cut into the pixied card.  Next I used the Whitney Edger set to cut away the two sides.  I glued them to the sides of a piece of coconut white card.  I used the Double Stitched Ovals and made a multi-layered frame using a white base and a thinner top frame cut from the pixied card.  I embossed a small piece of white card with the Quilted Pillow folder and attached the oval frame over it.  I trimmed away the excess card and attached it to the centre of the card with foam.  I cut the I'm Here For You sentiment out of the pixied card and added an offset black shadow behind it before gluing it into the centre of the oval frame.  I covered a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet and cut three small flowers out of it from the Cherry Blossom set and a butterfly from the Petite Butterfly set.  I used Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to glitter all of them then added them to the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  4. Hi sue and everyone. Aren't pixie powders amazing, its just magical to watch a plain piece of white card turn into a stunning work of art, and then you do the most wonderful sample that lights up over 50 faces during the course of a day or evening, I wish you were my neighbour Sue (what are your policies on mixing) I could inject myself with zoflora to make sure I'm clean from the inside out lol. Anyway thank you dear lady for my early morning smile, sending love round the country and world. STAY SAFE KEEP CARING xxx 💕

Such a beautiful card Sue. I love everything about it. I love the Pixie Powders and it's a while since I used any. I think it was pre-Covid and I'm always planning to make a lot of them
    and never do.
I think the Aging process has caught up with me

  24. Hi Sue and everyone wow what a stunning card today. I love the colours and purple is defo my favourite. I've not used my pixie powders for a long time either. I dont even mind the quilted embossing folder on this one as its a small area. Although I figured out why its not my favourite, the pattern is the same as my toilet rolls hehe.
I love the borders too and the flowers and butterfly. Todays inspiration definitely made me smile, thank you Sue.
    Hugs to everyone Donna xx

  26. Hi Sue,
A lovely card and I particularly like the sentiment as it's what my husband says to me when I have the odd meltdown these days. What I want to know is "Where is he when I want him to dry the dishes?" lol
I'm definitely warming to purple on cards now. Love the flowers.
    Hugs xxx Pauline
