Hi there my crafty friends! I just love the colour of the Glitter Kiss used on the background, I hope you do too! I started with a dark piece of card and spread the Vintage Violet Glitter Kiss across it and allowed it to dry. I used the Sublime Swirls Embossing folder on it to add texture. Using the Double Stitched Squares, I made a white frame and added it with mounting foam over the background. I cut the Petite Peony Cluster four times in white. I cut the matching flowers from the die four times out of leftover Glitter Kiss card. I glued the flowers behind the white die cuts, then added them to each of the four corners of the frame with foam. Using the Grateful Circle die, I cut it several times and glued them together, then glued it to the centre of the card. The card was completed with white and dark blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Bright and vibrant but it's not in your face it really is a pretty shade. Old mixed with new, the peony clusters with the grateful circle how many more designer's have a complete full collection that come together. A lovely calm way to start my day after a traumatic night trying to escape the fireworks that bombarded our area. We literally sat in the car on a motorway services with a sandwich tea to keep the dog away from the fear and stress it puts her and us through. So I'll send love to all that visit today. ReplyDeleteSteph, sorry you couldn't get away to the cottage as I don't expect the fireworks have finished yet. I shut my cats in at 5pm and didn't let them out again until 10pm. The girls were fine but the boy is a real scaredy cat and jumped at every bang.
