The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish

Hello bloggers!   I am in love with this All In One die set so I just wanted it to have a day on the blog (apart from the launch!)   I started by embossing a piece of white card with the new Stripes Embossing Folder.  I have got to say, this simple folder is fast becoming one of my favourites!  Next I cut the backing piece out of Old Rose card and added it to the centre of the card with foam.  I cut The More Candles All In One with a piece of white card on top of a piece of Arctic Blue card.  The top white one cuts all the way through, but the blue card is more or less just the outline.  I glued the white cut out die to the blue backing piece and added it to the old rose backing already in the centre of the card. I cut the die two more times, once in powder pink and once in old rose.  I used the fall away pieces of the powder pink and glued them back into the card in the banner, the stars and the cupcake.  I nipped away the large words from the Old Rose die cut and glued them over the white lettering in the other die.  I added some glitter to the candle flames and the white stars for a bit of bling.  The card was completed with white and old rose mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  12. Hello Sue
The colours that you have used are lovely. You are a ray of sunshine to brighten up another boring day. I am still in a lot of pain so unable to go for a walk and I dare not drive my car so the world just seems to passing me by.

  31. Hi Sue. As it is my birthday later on this week and I would have to have 62 candles on my cake, does this mean that I get quite a big wish?
I can understand why you like this die so much and I like how you have used it on this card by using so many different colours. It just goes to show how versatile these dies can be but you can also use them with less colours to make a really quick card too.

  39. Good morning Sue,

I love the style of card and the colours you have used. I have just bought this embossing folder - I may need to get the die set too!

Just one other thing Sue, would you consider creating a nesting die set of the small scalloped and stitched edge like the one on here? I’ve been looking for a set like this after seeing the MFT designs. They’re sizes are quite small and I can’t find them available in the uk. Here’s hoping! ☺️

    Have a great day,

    Love, Julie x
