We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Hello there my crafty friends!  Have you started on your Christmas cards yet?  Time is flying by, isn't it!  I started with a piece of coconut white card and used the Stylised Poinsettia embossing folder for texture.  Next I cut the Deco Snowflake die to use as a base.  I cut the centre section of the die and backed it in white and added it to the centre with foam.  I cut the We Wish You A Merry Christmas sentiment out of antique gold card and glued it to the centre.  I used the Poinsettia Stem die and cut out the flower out of Ruby Red card.  I used the outer dies and cut an outline for the flower out of a piece of card on which I used Red Glitter Kiss.  I glued it to the top of the flower and added a gold centre.  I added Khaki green leaves as accents and used a few bits of the swirl from the Snowflake and Swirls die set too.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another gorgeous Christmas card sample today, I love this poinsettia and the way you have used the glitter kiss to embellish it. I also have all of the items you have used, so will be doing this one as a special card for someone.

  3. Oh Sue this is peacefully gorgeous, is this possible. I think so, white is such a peaceful colour and a pop of red brings that flower to life. Your dies work perfectly together which is what many designers strive for now, we see not just for Christmas but your designs I think possibly started this trend,so thanks for designing dies for the festive season but not just for the festive season. I've not started mine yet as no market for me this year sadly. Have a lovely day whatever you're

  24. Hi Sue and everyone, i loved this card on your Christmas launch. Its so beautiful with all the white, i love the poinsettia embossing folder and the pop of red. I like how you added the glitter kiss too, shows it off perfectly. The sentiment is perfect too, love the big swirl on it. I started my Christmas cards some time ago, but still plenty to do. Its my favourite time to make cards for. Probably as it's the time of year I can just use my stash to make what I like as I get a lot of personalised cards throughout the year where people ask for specific things and i draw a lot too. 44. Hi Sue, I can't believe I didn't leave my comment on this card yesterday, I know I looked at it and thought 'gorgeous'. I love the Deco Snowflake die and I must try just using glitter kiss on the outline of the poinsettia rather than the whole flower it is most effective.
