Thank You

Hi bloggers!  I have been playing with another new colour of Glitter Kiss!  I just love this deep blue colour, but it is called Vintage Violet Glitter Kiss.  I coated a piece of card with it and allowed it to dry well.  I used the inner cutting die from the Avery die set to cut an aperture in the centre.  I cut the outer part of the Avery die in white, cutting the very centre of it out, then glued it to the card, lining up the openings.  I added mounting foam to raise it then added it over a piece of white card.  I cut the centre of the Avery die in white and recessed it down into the opening.  I used a small piece of leftover glittered card and cut the Thank You sentiment out of it.  I added a black shadow to it then glued it into the centre of the card.  I cut a Striped Nasturtium flower using white card for both the base and the striped top part of the flower.  I cut the eyelash part out of the glittered card and glued it to the centre of the flower with a pearl.  I seated it with white leaves in the corner of the card.  I cut a larger piece of white card and ran double sided sticky tape around the edge and added Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then added the top part of the card with foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x    7 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Hi Sue. The very first picture looks like midnight black and as the rest load onto my phone screen I can see the deeper beauty of this new product. You've chosen another classic expensive looking sample to showcase today and I sure love a classy card.

Hope you and colin are safe after hearing the dreadful news coming in from FL and to all our lovely American friends, you maybe thousands of miles away but we just need to open our phone and laptops to send our love and thoughts your way. Thinking of you all so much xx

  33. Hi Sue
That colour is absolute heavenly. Avery looks magnificent with that ‘vintage violet’ background.
There was a time when 95% of my cards would feature the striped nasturtium, it was a real favourite of mine. Seeing it used on this card has reminded me how much I love it x
Have seen your new collection - 🤩 It’s amazing. I will try and be patient waiting for the launch but it’s going to be difficult 😂
