Miss You

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by covering a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing paper off and drizzled Purple Dawn Aurora Flakes over it.  I used a piece of rubit scrubit pad to move the flake all over and adhere it to the sticky sheet.  A light rub removes the excess flake for a refined look.  Next I used the Double Stitched Octagon die set and cut frames out of it.  I used every other one for this card (and saved the remainders for another creation, I love the two-fer this sort of layout gives you!).  I added mounting foam to the back of the frames and attached them to a piece of white card.  I used a small leftover corner of the flake sheet and cut out the Miss You sentiment and the centre for my flower.  I glued the sentiment into the centre of the frames.  Using the Petal Pocket flowers, I made one in white and added the flake centre to it with a pearl.  I seated the flower on the left side and accented it with Lace Edged Leaves cut in white.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now.
