Good Sunday morning all! Today's card is quite a clean and simple number that uses the new
Pearl Opal Polishes. These polishes are designed to work with dark card to give a soft pearlescent finish. They can be used on white card, but the finish is more of a Mother of Pearl sort of look. I started by embossing a piece of white card with the
Sublime Swirls embossing folder. Next I cut a piece of black card and used the
Red Pearl, Green Pearl and Lilac Pearl Opal Polishes randomly all over it and allowed them to dry. Next I cut the
You Make My Heart Smile All in One die with the polish card on top and a piece of black card underneath. I used the black card underneath to cut the exact shape of the All in one and then glued the polish version on top. I paper pieced some of the fall away pieces from the black die cut into the polished die and used the heart from the polished die cut randomly around the embossed card behind it. I added a few more hearts by cutting random sections of the die. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"
x 8" in size.

I love the effect of the polishes and they look perfect against the dark background here, lovely card that looks so much more complicated than an all in one die - another pretty EF too,
