Hello crafters! I pulled out the new
Plumtastic Lustre Polish for the background on today's card! I know it looks really dark, maybe even black at first glance, but it is a really rich, beautiful plum colour in real life! I coated a piece of card with it then allowed it to dry well. I used the
Dotty Flourish Embossing folder on it. Next I took the
Snow & Ice Lustre Polish and just went over the top of the embossing as a highlight. I cut the
Delilah Background die cut in white. I added a vellum backing to it then used the
Delilah Edger set to cut the sides away. I glued it down the left side of the card. I cut the
Decorative Flag die in white and added it with foam. The Thanks sentiment was cut out of the Polish card and glued to the flag die. I cut the
Jasmine Flowers out of some more of the leftover Polish card and made three flowers. I seated the flowers at the end of the flag and used the
Magnolia Corner to add leafy accents. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 3/4" in size. All for now. Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh wow the plum and the white work so well together, not only with the plum on the embossed background but also making the flower, yes I like this, lots of sparkle in it too. Just up my street.

Hi I love the name of the lustre polish, it really is plumbtastic, plumbalitious even either way your design, the folder and your dies helps to show its regality (is that a word)? Plumbtastic and plumbalitious isn't but there ya go life is life lol.

The Lustre Polishes give such rich and vibrant colors to one's design. Using the Snow & Ice Lustre Polish over the top of the embossing certainly brings out the embossing and highlights the Plumtastic coloring. Lovely overall design. Thank you for sharing.
